It's time to take Custom Mixing to the next level with an all new ClickMix.com. The new ClickMix.com web site has some amazing features that will make creating your Custom Mixes more fun and easier then ever before. Take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the new site features so you can get the most out of the experience. These are just a few of the best new features:
Find Tracks Menu
Finding new tracks is easier than ever before, once you know how to take full advantage of the menu system.
Filtering: The system works by filtering to show you just what you want, rather than traditional categories where many kinds of products are lumped together. For example, if you select Top 40 AND Aqua, you would only see the Tracks that are tagged with both of those categories. Add in a BPM range, and you will only see tracks that match your selected categories and fall within the specified range. We think this is the quickest way to find exactly what you are looking for, without having to wade though thousands of tracks.
Drag and Drop
Adding tracks to your tracklist is a snap with the new drag and drop feature. Simply click and drag any track image into your tracklist area. Release your mouse button when the area behind the tracks turns yellow, and your track will be added to the bottom of your tracklist.
New Tracklist Section
The tracklist section of the site is where you will build your mix. It is where you will drop tracks you want, change tracks positions, hear mix transitions, edit BPMs, add gaps, and more.
You have full control over your mix in one convenient place, and it is visible on every page of the site.
There is also an expandable section near the bottom of the playlist with additional tools, such as tools to automatcally sort your tracklist by BPM, name your mix, clear all tracks from your tracklist. Finally, at the bottom of the tracklist are a counter to show the total number of tracks in your list, and the approximate runtime of your mix. When you are happy with your mix, hit the "Create Mix & Checkout" button to proceed with checkout.
Drag to Reorder
Once you have added a number of tracks to your list, you will probably want to change the order they will be played. Simply click and drag any track's image up or down to change that tracks position in the playlist. What could be simpler?
Click to Edit, and Preview
If you want to change the BPM or hear how a track will sound when it is mixed with the next track, simply click on a track. It will highlight, and expand. You will see a few new items; The BPM Selector, The Play Mix Transition Button, and the Play Sample Button.
" The BPM selector will allow you to change a tracks BPM within a pre-determined range. The range allows flexibility, while maintaining the quality of the music.
" The Play Mix Transition Button is used to hear how the currently selected track will sound when mixed with the next track in the list.
" The Play Sample Button will play the extended, unmixed sample of the track so you can get a feel for the main portion of the track.
My Mixes Section
The My Mixes section is where all the mixes you create are stored. Every mix you create is saved and is available for re-download at any time. Best of all, if you want to edit a previous mix, you can load that mix into your tracklist and make any changes you need.
Of course, there is a lot more to the new site. Detailed help and instructions are available in the Help and Support menus.
